CONSTRUCTION UPDATE:

SOUTH OF UNION STREET: The final layer of asphalt paving will continue this week on South 2nd Street on Thursday, May 13 extending from LONG Street to UNION Street. Access will be limited in this section during construction.

NORTH OF UNION STREET: Installation of new water main will continue extending to POPLAR Street. On Wednesday, May 13 installation of curbing and driveway access will begin from UNION Street to ROCK Street.

2nd Street will be CLOSED TO THROUGH TRAFFIC while these sections are under construction. Local traffic will retain access to homes and businesses. Please use caution when driving through the construction zones. Businesses will remain open during construction. For any questions or concerns please call Dennis Overman at 479-857-1189.
